The time had come to put his and Ryme's plans into action. He had asked Liari to meet him in West City for her help in something that he promised would be fun. He had seen enough of the city and its people to learn that it was in dire need of some help in its profit departments. While they had wonderful technological advances there was so much more they could be doing with their tech than simply building those beautiful cars he enjoyed so much. While they did have weapons what really interested him was these dino capsules and just what they could do. On top of that, the ability these humans had to reverse engineer things was impressive. Though their social behaviors needed improvement and he was going to fix it. He had a simple plan, he was going to take this city over and control the technology capital of this world and then from here help his own company take advantage of everything that he could.
Once the Majin girl would arrive he would explain to her just what he needed from her. In the meantime, he waited to look out at the city from the skies. Looking down from above the massive city he wondered how he would first go about it? Should he just fly down to ZZTV and proclaim himself the new Major of this city? Perhaps he should send a volley of ki attacks down below and tell them they would keep coming unless they surrendered the city to him. He knew the USD had some play here but it was time for the PTO to put their flag in the ground or more so, it was time that the Ika brothers put their flag into the ground and started to the foundation of their army. To start an army though one needed capital, and that was exactly what he would be going for with this takeover. It was a sure way to ensure a steady flow of income from this planet and start the foundation of a proper city. There would be a list of things he would change and the first would be to get rid of all the worthless trash from this great city and invite the greatest and brightest minds from all over the world to come and join him. Zero was going to ensure that he even brought scientists from off-world to help school the top research and developers on earth to ensure the best product was produced, and for those who were incapable of providing achievements towards the cause they were to be removed or put to work. No more singing, or acting to become famous, it was time for the smartest of this planet to be on top and screw this world government that lead them on a leash and the USD for their backward way of handling the control of this planet. The choice had been made though, Zero would enter the ZZTV building while they were on broadcast and let the world know. He would then have Liari give them an example of what was to happen if they did not comply. It was a hostile takeover but an effective one.

Liari had gotten Zero's message and RUSHED over to join him just on the border of West City! It was during the busiest time of day so the smell of smog was in the air, the sound of countless cars honking filling the ears of all that could hear it and with so many buildings, anyone inside that city could barely see the open sky!
...Suffice it to say, Liari never really liked Earth's cities. They all felt so CROWDED and LOUD and SMELLY... She never understood WHY anyone would wanna live in one, let alone ZERO wanting to come here with her! He never really looked like the "Hang out with a buncha sweaty, smoggy humans" type... But maybe that was just something he hid well behind is silver-spoon vainer. Liari would arrive, a dubious, but hopeful smile on her face! She wouldn't EXACTLY call Zero her 'friend' as he could be REALLY MEAN sometimes and REALLY NICE other times, but she might call him a friendly associate, someone she would come to if beckoned and promised with a good time!
It wouldn't take too long for the majin to arrive, floating up behind the changeling and giving him a big, friendly wave!
"Oh! Hiya, Zero!" Liari called, innocent to the dark plan cooking up in Zero's noodle! "So what we do here of all place? Eat? Go swim? OH, OH! Maybe we shop! Cities have lotta thing for us to do! Maybe maybe Ryme join too? Maybe we have even more fun than before~!"

Kombu took a liking to one particular kind of training: enduring his mind and body under the crushing, coursing flow of a mighty waterfall. He sat alone on a wet rock while dressed only in his undersuit. Only the sound of the flowing liquid resonated around him. And yet, the sound was dulled as the Saiyan dwelled in a pensive state. This was not the first time that Kombu had endured this form of exercise. By now it had become easier to let go of his outer senses and reflect inward.
Kombu later found himself back at the abode of the Turtle Hermit, Master Roshi. Rather, the old Martial Artist's secondary home on Training Island. The Saiyan and the Master were to remain on the island for the next few weeks while they underwent their training regimen. And, with his training done for the day, Kombu and Master Roshi idly sat before the television while they lounged about flipping through the channels to find some form of entertainment.
A baseball match mid-game. A national talent series. A ballet recital. Nothing that was on would seem to be worth paying attention to. Though the mindless channel surfing would come to a halt due to a sudden groan from the duo's stomachs.
"Looks like our bellies have the same idea, Kombu," the Turtle Hermit chuckled. "How about you head out and get us some grub?"
Kombu sheepishly grinned while he patted his stomach to quiet it down. "Sure thing, Master," he replied, moving to stand and stretch his muscles after being motionless for a time. "What are you in the mood for?"
Master Roshi hummed as he mulled over his options. "Well," he offered, "there's this amazing barbeque lace in West City. You could go grab us some take-out boxes...Though mind you! You're treating this time! Remind me not to pay the bill of a hungry Saiyan!"
This dragged a laugh out of Kombu's chest. "Of course, Master. My treat this round."
"And other rounds!" Roshi cemented with a coy grin. "I'm not made out of money, you know!"
Kombu could only roll his eyes. "Sure thing, Master Roshi. It's the least I can do for your generosity in training me."
The young adult Saiyan then took to the skies and made a beeline for West City. His growling food container only drove him to fly faster and faster. It wouldn't be long until the shining metropolis could be seen on the horizon.
Kombu then halted once he had arrived at the precipice of West City. Something in particular stood out among the cacophony of the bustling world below. A familiar presence. Could it be? Was his Majin sparring partner here?
A new task presented itself at the forefront of the Saiyan's mind. He hadn't seen the blue Majin in a while. Maybe this would be the best opportunity to pop by and say hello! He decided that the food could wait despite his Saiyan urges. It would be nice to check in with an acquaintance and see what they have been up to since their last meeting.
The Saiyan focused on the familiar power signature. She was moving. But, she would soon stop. Another power signature. One as powerful as his own. No...Stronger! This caused the innate desire to fight to itch within Kombu's psyche. Perhaps he could get in some sparring before collecting food for himself and his Martial Arts Master!
The Saiyan zipped toward both power signatures like a bee looking to collect nectar and pollen from a flower. He approached Liari and the unknown Changeling with a broad smile. The poor Saiyan was vastly unaware of the dastardly deeds that may soon transpire.
"Hey again, Liari!" Kombu chimed with a wave of his right hand. "Good to see you again! Who's your friend here?"

Upon seeing the Majin girl appear, Zero smiled. She greeted him with a curiously excited tone. But they were going to have fun, a bit of it anyway. Zero opened his arms up and looked down at the city below them. "Oh my dear dear Liari, thank you for joining me in this wonderful city. West City is an amazing place perhaps one of the very best. Down there is a city filled with some of the brightest minds on this planet and yet their potential is currently locked behind what this planet thinks is important. Now I have a task for you. Down there is a building belonging to some not so friendly people who go by the USD. They have a base in every major city on Earth and sadly are a thorn in our sides. You see my dear child, I need you to go and blow it up and kill all the people in that building. In the meantime, I will be going to the ZZTV building and making the announcement that we will be taking things over. " He looked away and took a deep breath before settling his left hand onto her shoulder.
"Now I know that this is not something you wish to do Liari, I know you are fond of the Earthlings. Sadly, it must be you to do it as I need you to prove to me that I can trust you with anything and that you will do whatever it takes to find that woman you are searching for. After all, if you can not help me with a simple task such as this then maybe I was wrong to welcome you into my ship to live with Ryme and me. All that training time went to waste. I would hate to break up this happy trio of ours for something so small dear girl. Sadly, this is the greatest test I can think of. I must know that you have what it takes to make the tough calls in the future. " He retracted his hand and places his eyes dead set on her with a look of a proud parent.
"But I know you will not let me down, after all, you do not wish to be alone again and I am sure you wish to find this mystery woman. I could not imagine how you would do so without the help I have offered you. As I said before I can help you and I do hope you know we care about your well-being. I would never ask you to do something that I myself would not do to could not do. You are such a strong young woman Liari, but you have the chance to take this first step and become so much more. You need to start taking your place as one of the most dominant beings in this universe. Destroying that building and all those in it is the best step forward. You will not disappoint me right?"
He looked hopeful, it was the best acting he had ever done. Chiller, his father would be proud of him for his performance. He dares say he could even feel a bit of a tear forming in his left eye as he awaited her response. IF she agreed to help him out Zero would smile and give her a head pat. "I'll be on that large screen there" He said pointing to the ZZTV broadcast currently going on in the center of the town on a large building wide screen. "When you hear me say the captial building is no more. I want you to attack then. And remember to have fun! Treat it like a game, if you get over four hundred kills, I will treat you to all the ice cream you can eat, I promise"
After he finished his talk with Liari, and started to move towards the ZZTV building, someone approached them. Unsure who or what it was it became aware it would be one of those filthy monkeys. Just how many of them were here? They knew they had their own planet right? Perhaps the Saiyans were planning some type of coup against the USD on Earth first before on their home world. His manners were even that of the typical chimps, asking who Zero was without even introducing himself first. No time for games my dear."
Zero would then smile as he waved off to Liari. heading towards the ZZTV building. Upon reaching it, Zero blasted the wall down with a shove of his ki. The destruction would be seen live on all television sets currently watching ZZTV. The sound of screams in a panic-filled the room. Zero chuckled as he floated in front of the news camera where he was sure his brother was watching from somewhere. "People of Earth, but mostly West City. My name is Zero Ika, and I have come to liberate you from these fools called the USD. For too long Earth has been on a coasting life cycle where advancements in science have been limited due to the fear of your leaders and the ruling of the USD. Fear not, tonight that changes. My friends and I will be taking over this city from now on. From this point on, I will be leading this city into an era of advancement. Most of the brightest minds are in this city yet are locked and withheld with regulations and protocols to prevent something truly amazing from being built. It is time that the world starts to follow those who know the most about it. No longer shall someone who acts or sings tell you how to think. Welcome to higher living. Simply put, the Capital Building is no more. Tonight, especially in West City."

Liari stood (floated) there in shock as Zero laid out EXACTLY what he wanted from Liari, all the devastation and the destruction, the pain and the death... None of that Liari was capable of fully comprehending though. What REALLY got her attention... was the consequences if she DIDN'T play ball. Without saying it entirely flat out, Zero had basically just threatened to take away just about everything Liari had gained with them over the days they'd spent together! Room, board, companionship, food... EVERYTHING Liari needed to keep herself from going CRAZY on this planet... Zero would just take away... And then, he assured her that if all that wouldn't stop her... he wouldn't even TRY to find that face, that stupid face she'd been tormented with in her nightmares... She had asked Zero for help before regarding this and he HAD agreed.
...Only now did he choose to reveal just what that kind of agreement cost: Compliance. Liari brow furrowed at such a disgusting concept, "Compliance..." like she was a dog who would get her food-bowl taken away if she didn't play fetch. Like she was a cat whose yarn would be locked away if she didn't hunt on command. Like a bird whose treats would be withheld if she didn't sing! Zero wanted something from her... HE ALWAYS DID, based on his entitled tone of voice. It was just a matter of "what" and "when." Liari's bubbly cheeriness was replaced with a narrow-eyed scowl. As she looked down at her herself in thought, she could practically see the shackles around her legs and arms. He had things... machines and powers and things Liari couldn't grasp... but she knew nobody else had them. If there was ANYONE that had the power to save her from those voices screaming in her head.... it'd be him... And it was gonna come with a price-tag. She thought they were FRIENDS, that he CARED about her, that.... like... he WANTED to help! ...But he didn't... He probably hated her and only wanted her around to shoot things... THAT'S what she got from this! "Trust..." She thought that came with being friends... If Zero listened closely, he could probably hear the heart in Liari's chest crack cheap glass. Liari sighed heavily and shook her head, quickly replacing that look of growing HATRED with another, bubbly can-do grin!
"...OKAY!" She stated cheerfully, waving Zero off as he descend into the city... as her eyes BURNED a hole into his back!
It wouldn't be even a MOMENT after that KOMBU, of all people, would appear before the little blue girl ZIPPING right up to the majin before she could enter the city herself! The majin blinked, surprised to see the sayain here after their little fight-thing all that time ago! He looked good, a little stronger than before! Any other time, the majin's smile would have radiated sunshine, maybe even gotten a BIG hug and a fight out of Liari for just being there and being cheery!
...But the smile Liari gave Kombu... was as if that sun had collapsed in on itself, barely holding its form under its weight. ...She was not in the mood for "friends" right now.
"Oh hi!" She greeted merrily, trying to slip around Kombu and make her way into the city! If he followed, the majin would GATHER her internal strength to keep her temper from BURSTING out... not at least, until she reached her objective. "Him? Oh! I meet him second ago! He really... nice guy!"
Fetch this, Liari. Blow that up, Liari. You're my toy, Liari. Or else you won't get what you want.
"M-maybe you go talk to him! I go somewhere else! Happy I see you again!" ...And like that, Liari just SHOT OFF in the direction of the base! Regardless of whatever face the Majin forced herself to wear, steam was EBBING out of the holes lining her arms, a sign of her rage bubbling up from the surface. She could feel control slipping away, of bother temper and her life, the majin trembling as she stopped JUST outside of the Capital Building! The guards outside were met with a SWIFT end as sharp punches sending them SPIRALING to the ground... unconscious... or dead.
"Hate this...." Liari rumbled as she crossed her arms over her chest, gathering her energy inward! A pulsating outline of pink light surrounded the majin, her aura growing thicker and brighter by the second! It was then that Zero would begin his speech, his face flicking upon the T.V. screen across from the base, the Majin glaring obsidian-edged daggers at the person she THOUGHT was her friend.
"...Hate you..."
Wait for the signal, Liari. Do what I tell you, Liari. Be my SLAVE Liari... Or I might just have to forget my promise.
"I... Hate... You...."
"...the Capital Building is no more..."
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
Suddenly, the majin SPREAD her arms WIDE and a MASSIVE DOME of pink energy ERUPTED from her core, ENCOMPASSING the base and the surrounding streets in all-consuming pink-red light! A brilliant pillar of energy EXPLODED into the air, reaching taller than the skyscrapers themselves, RIPPING APART EVERYTHING TO DUST that DARE stand before its expansion!
...And when it was over... and the energy died out... Liari stood amongst the ash. No rubble.... no dirt, not even a BRICK remained around where the majin once stood. Just... ash. Ash... smoke... and that screen of Zero smiling down at her, satisfied with her performance.

That wasn't quite the interaction the earthborn Saiyan had hoped for. The cold demeanor of the Changeling etched a sense of doubt into his mind that would last for some time. Kombu thought he was polite enough. Had he done something wrong?
This minor moral inconvenience wouldn't have enough time to take root and spread more doubt within the Saiyan. His observation of Liari told him that something was not quite right with her. She had put on a grin and a cheery voice. Yet white steam seeped out of the pores in her arms. A telltale sign which sent off alarms in Kombu's mind. He saw it before in the battle against her weeks prior. A sign of frustration, perhaps? Anger? Kombu worried that Liari was furious at something. Or someone.
His gut told him to follow his blue acquaintance rather than head after the horned being from another world. Kombu wasn't quite sure why she was angry, if at all. His social teachings gnawed at him, urging him to reach out to the Majin and attempt to make sure that she was feeling okay. The Saiyan's good nature refused to budge and allow neglect.
So he would follow after Liari. Though what he did not expect was the swift dispersal of guards outside of one of the city's buildings. His gut wrenched from being unable to react in time and stop such a brutal assault. He knew that Liari loved a good fight just as any Saiyan did. But to attack people much weaker than herself? Let alone armed guards? This turn of events certainly did not sit well with Kombu.
"Hey," Kombu began, reaching a hand to put onto her shoulder. "Liari, what did you do that for?"
The now confused Saiyan wanted to get to the bottom of whatever plot had been cooked up rather than outright punish Liari for what she did. He was not a mind reader. Maybe she was making a big mistake.
"It looks to me like something's bugging you. I hardly know you, but after our fight, I can't help but feel like I have an idea of what kind of person you are. I didn't feel any malice behind your attacks that day. What's going on? And who was that guy you were with? Please, Liari...Maybe I can help you."

Of all the thriving Metropolis of each Continent that Callion had yet to visit on his time at Earth, it was West City he had yet to experience. A part of him hadn’t really crossed his mind in participating in travelling to that area of the known world, only having explored at least several key areas for his training as well as taking part in Quest so early on during the initial start and humble beginnings, back when he was weak and required an immense amount of training to get to even remotely the amount of strength he now managed to possess in the modern day. From taking out the Slave Trade Organisation in the mountainous and barren lands of the Gizard Wasteland, to the scorching heat and desolate sands of the Diablo Desert, the Saiyan monk having spend in that scorching hellhole training with the Super Weighted Clothing – that he was still wearing now at this very moment in time as part of his course to get stronger. The very notion of taking a break, honestly never sat exactly with this Saiyan, who was dedicated in the art of getting stronger and pushing himself to a new level in every conceivable way possible.
Which was also the reason why he decided to show up, at the very least, following the wishes of his Master; the Turtle Hermit Roshi himself, to participate in the relaxation and peaceful time in having a celebratory meal for actually learning the Kamehameha, and especially meeting his fellow student who was also training under Master Roshi; another fellow Saiyan, which would honestly make this the third individual that was another member of his race. The thought of yet another one on earth and someone to talk to really did raise the Saiyan Monk’s spirit in being able to have a more deep conversation with those who have lived their own lives before having made their way to this particular planet, and now that there was another one like him, who just so happened to be another student under Master Roshi’s watchful eyes, the very aspect of training just got at least three times more exciting and the thought of getting stronger only fuel Callion’s drive to improve himself all the while with zero signs of holding back the urge to just challenge his fellow student right there on the spot, and perhaps when the fight was over, the two could engage in some good eats around the town!
But first, he had to meet this Saiyan. What was his name? What did he look like? Was he strong or weak? Was the Saiyan even a he at all and possible another she? How many press ups, sit ups or eve juice can this fellow student drink and perform? There was indeed so many questions that spiralled across the mind of Callion that he had to consider his choices carefully. Perhaps he may even bring his student Plasma with him to meet his fellow student and perhaps even Master Roshi; Plasma being a Bio-Android of all things and not a Saiyan like them. How exactly did Callion and a Bio-Android created in the dark depths ever met face to face, let alone him taking on one as a student of all things? Well, long story short, a fridge was involved in North City and the rest was pretty much history. That was the equivalent of the short version to how those two met during their time in the Northern Continent, and now this was the moment to come into contact and meet new people once more, or at least he hoped to and possibly stumble across the same old faces once more.
“Hmm, so I am getting close to West City huh? Looks like this is the place and- Wait… Why am I sensing a lot of activity going on in the city? Those energy readings… There are those I recognise and even know. I can sense Master Roshi’s energy, Liari and… That Changeling’s energy. What exactly is going on here.” Callion pondered for a moment. This was unlike the situation that had happened on Tropical Island in any stretch of the imagination, and certainly not in a pleasant or rather comedic fashion. This time, it was serious, something was about to go down he could feel it deep inside him, right into the core of his Saiyan being. Just what in all that was holy was going on in this city, and why were these power levels within the heart of the town mingling in this matter. Nothing made any sense to the Saiyan monk, his mind trying desperately to wrap his brain around the knowledge he was receiving from sensing the ki energy being emitted from those that were within the area and why there was a group of them here.
That’s when he felt the tremor as well as heard the explosion that happened around the corner of the West City entrance, which was immediately followed by a stampede of people that were trying desperately to flee the city in the fear of being killed by whomever it was that had just destroyed a whole building, and perhaps even the surrounding streets having been engulfed in what he could currently see from behind the stone wall was a rising smoke of the explosion aftermath! Just what in all that was holy was even going on in the city anymore? A clear and obvious sign that the place was under attack and under threat by something or someone. This could not be allowed to stand, not by his watch and now, since being in close proximity of the explosion… He now had to do the one thing that he honestly wishes he hadn’t.
Callion had to get involved.
Following his teaching of Planet Bhupal, getting involved in a fight that he had no part to play in was just not what he was trained to do, and yet he was being contradicted by his Saiyan genes to take on this fight no matter what. He was the living example of the inner struggle between warrior and Monk – Peace and War – Life and Death. These conflicting emotions and thoughts were gnawing at his mind, and if it weren’t for his meditation, he’d most likely be as crazy or a lunatic with the same mindset as a Majin by now. Fortunate being under the watchful eyes of the Monsol Monks of the planet that was home to the most dedicated monks of the universe were capable to train and temper the wrath of the Saiyan to a much better use. Having made up his mind, Callion decided that it was for the best to learn what exactly was going on before he intervened with the situation at hand. Perhaps there was a solution to this without the use of force, leaving such realm of possibility as the last resort and should that final card be used? Well, Callion would allow the Saiyan within to take a hold of the wheel, and there would be zero signs to hold back any punches. For now, peace and without fighting was still very much on the table, but at a more caution approach.
Walking ever onward, past the rushing civilians who were evacuating the city, he spotted Master Roshi who was watching from the side lines. Thank goodness he was alright, and as his eyes gaze ever forward whilst moving ahead, he’d soon enough see two figures; the Saiyan and the Majin. From first glance from quite the distance he could see the Majin that it was, in fact, Liari clear as day for that blue skin was unmistakable… Unless she happened to have a twin sister that Callion never knew, besides Ayu being the majin’s supposed sister, but that’s a story for another day. What was she doing? What had she done? Did she just level a building and the streets as well? Did the majin just killed people inside the building? No, that couldn’t be right… How could someone like her just tend the lives of those people. Sure, they were members of the USD, an organisation that Callion had no knowledge about, but those who were inside had no part in this and were innocent workers at heart! Callion’s face grew cold and heartbroken, really trying to hope and pray that what was going on was nothing short of an assumption.
Then there was the fellow Saiyan and supposed fellow Student of Master Roshi. There was going to be plenty of talking about this, there was no doubt about it and if anything, Callion was willing to throw his hand to support his fellow member of the proud warrior race without a second thought. As the idea spiralled inside his head, although dawned upon him. This instance was awfully similar to the time on the beach… There was Callion, then Liari, but unlike Kombu, there were two Changelings that were rather chummy with the Majin… Or at least at the time of the beach, not so much…
So now that begged the question, at least to Callion’s mind…
Where was Zero… Where was Ryme…

A few seconds had gone by and then a wave of embarrassment washed over him. What was taking her so damn long, he was about to lose his patience. No in fact he had done just that and was filled with rage. Was she delayed somehow? Perhaps that damn saiyan he had seen going to meet Liari before he headed into the ZZTV building. Looked to a news anchor who switched to the overhead view of the Capital building where it captured that very saiyan he was just thinking about and it seemed like he was speaking to Liair. Was he trying to interfere with his plan? Groaning, Zero pushed his hand against the wall shoving it outwards. "I'll pay for the damage later. For now, I must go and stop this Saiyan, he might be connected to the ones who destroyed Orange City. " Zero was no amateur, he knew how to manipulate the views of others and how to twist the world to where it would benefit him.
Zero flew out of the building, darting himself as fast as he could fly towards the building that was supposed to be destroyed. He would attempt to get there before anything could happen to Liari. While he did not exactly care for the girl like he did Ryme he did not wish for her to be influenced by a Saiyan of all things. With the latest news about the Great Ape attacks in Orange City, he definitely did not want her to die to something ungodly such as a saiyan aping out. Zero was not one who could sense power levels or even had a scouter so he had no idea who was really stronger or weaker than himself. People had often told him he had a BIG power but he did not know what they meant, or what the scale was that those who could sense the powers of others. The only thing he knew for sure was that no one, and he meant no one was going to stand in his way of claiming this for the PTO. THIS was what he needed to generate resources here and the USD, well they knew better than to mess with the PTO. Perhaps this saiyan did not. If that was the case then Zero would make sure he was dealt with, and properly.
Once he reached the site, Zero looked up to see the hover planes in the air that had a news crew on them. Moving his head down he refocused on Liari, if she indeed did not keep on with her planned assault then Zero would lower himself behind the saiyan. There were sure to be words had. "What is the holdup, Liari just who is this Saiyan?" His face showed how annoyed he was, his anger was starting to peek as his red face lines grew darker as blood flowed throughout his face.
However, if she did keep on with her attack Zero would smile as he clapped his hands together. "Well Done my dear girl. I am happy to say you passed the loyalty test. I was only saying those things to see if you had what it took to join me and Ryme. Now you may join us and have a permanent seat at our table! " It was just more mental and emotional abuse and manipulation to make it seem like he had been lying to her about not helping her.

The majin ferociously took out the guards and had begun charging her blast, all the while staring in hatred at Zero's face on the screen. What she would give to have his throat in her hands right now, to feel his neck crumple and break in her violent, crushing embrace. She could practically feel it in her fingers, his neck, the temptation to SHOOT off and throttle him while on camera almost overcoming her better judgement... if one could call it that.
"Hate him... but I need him..." She rumbled, her aura growing brighter and more powerful, bordering on unleashing! ...And that's when a certain sayain showed up!
"Wh... KOMBU!?" Liari SHOUTED in both OUTRAGE and shock that he had followed her, the majin turning her glare from Zero's twisted, self-satisfied smirk to that one perky sayain oblivious to what she was about to do! "What... What you want!? GO AWAY!"
...But he wouldn't. He had already seen the bodies scattered around the majin, his expression one of shock and concern as he beckoned the girl to tell him what the matter was. He had seen her face too, then, the anger, frustration and the slight twinge of sadness that plagued her expression, perhaps even the glances she kept flicking towards Zero's face on the screen! She looked at the hand Kombu had placed upon her shoulder, the majin's heart quaking in her chest...
"I..." She mumbled, her aura starting to fade a little bit! "...He... He tell me to do this..." Liari's arms uncrossed from around her chest, now hanging limply at her sides. "...I see thing when I sleep... I hear thing when I close eyes... Screaming... Pain... Blame me for something I not know... I no can take it anymore... If... If I do this... he promise he make them stop, find out where they come from..." Liari looked up at Kombu, her silver eyes filling with tears. "I no can stand it... it too much... Have to do this... HAVE TOO...!" The majin's hands SHOT up to cup her head, the little blue girl trembling, SHAKING like a leaf! Liari had went as far as a whole week now without sleeping, those images only getting louder, stronger, driving her insane! She knew what she was doing was wrong... but she couldn't stop herself anymore! SHE JUST COULDN'T! It was like someone who hasn't eaten in DAYS being chained to a chair while watching someone ELSE eat! At nights, she can practically HEAR the snoring of the planet as it sleeps, her OWN exhaustion gnawing at her eyes with a fresh vision just WAITING for her to give in!
All the fun, all the sugar, all the FRIENDS in the world wasn't going to help her when her body eventually gave out on her and Liari was forced back into that nightmare for the LONGEST time yet!
"Go away, Kombu..." Liari whimpered, tears rolling down her cheeks as she crossed her arms over her chest again! Her aura SURGED even GREATER than ever, her eyes flashing red as her lips pulled back in a snarl!
If Kombu didn't, or was unable to stop the majin, Liari would EXPLODE in a brilliant flash of energy, BLOWING AWAY the massive government building in a vortex of pink ki and blinding, eardrum-bursting power! Zero would arrive to congratulate Liari, offering her a place in his organization! She only looked up at him, a pained... and angry expression on her face! Callion would arrive a moment later to survey the damage, hovering above them all like a god passing judgement.
...If he WAS able to stop her, though, Zero would arrive and chastise the majin for her failure, question who this sayain, Kombu, might be! Liari would say nothing, her head downcast, her heart broken again from the hopelessness of her situation. Zero would probably abandon her now as a failure, refusing to help her since she was unable to help HIM. She could look forwards to endless years of torment and agony for the rest of her days any time she went to sleep, that stranger screaming at her, telling her it was HER fault. ...And she would deserve it, after all, she couldn't even blow up one stupid building. She was weak... worthless... A failure. She might as well die right here before that nightmare could take her again.

It would seem the Puppet Master had arrived to check and ensure the strings he had attached to Liari had not been cut. Kombu kept a wary eye on the Changeling known as Zero Ika. He seemed somewhat disturbed that Liari had not yet blown up the Capitol building of West City. However, the pieces of the puzzle were now falling into place for the Saiyan. The Ringmaster behind the scheme of destruction was Zero. And it would appear that Liari was indebted to him. Zero demanded to know who Kombu was. Now was not the time to answer, however. Kombu's heart wept for the blue Majin as she recounted her sad tale. She expressed her disdain for the Changeling, who promised to fix her if she attacked this building of West City. He only watched, helpless, as she fought through the tears to explain that she had nightmares. And that Zero promised to make them go away if only she demonstrated an act of ultra-violence. Kombu was, unfortunately, not given the opportunity to retort. Instead, alarms blared in his head when he saw the pink energy beginning to expand around the Majin girl. She was about to explode. "Liari! NO!"Kombu launched forward. Time seemed to slow like molasses as he reached out to grab her. He prayed to react quickly enough. That building below, and all of the people inside, were about to be utterly vaporized. Kombu, despite his fears, managed to snake his arms and legs around the blue Majin girl in a grapple. Now that he had her, he refused to let go. He could feel the vibrations in her body growing exponentially higher. The heat pouring from the girl's body became immeasurable. The Saiyan had one shot at saving the lives of those below. He squeezed his eyes shut—every fiber of his being accepted that Death may come to greet him. A cerulean barrier of ki, just significant enough to encapsulate himself and Liari, suddenly swelled into existence. There was a moment of silence. Then, a blinding light penetrated his tightened eyelids, followed by a thunderous kaboom. The light faded. The ringing in the Saiyan's ears slowly dissipated. Kombu opened his eyes, finding himself with scuffed armor and a new soreness in his muscles. "Am I...?"No. He had not perished, miraculously. It took him a moment to regain his senses. The man looked over himself, then peered down below at the building. It remained standing aside from a crumbling plaza. The white light that pierced his eyes was gone. Only to be replaced by a sea of red as angered eyes bored into Zero and Liari. "You...Monsters..." The Saiyan glared at the two of them. His burning, untethered rage bubbled to the surface with little resistance. But, first, he would snap at Liari. "How could you...How COULD you?!" he demanded while tossing his hand to the side. "Liari...You almost killed all of those people! And for what?! To end nightmares? All because this, this...Piece of trash told you to? Because he promised to help you if you took innocent lives?"Kombu struggled to keep the beast locked away. It was good for everyone's sake that a waning crescent glistened above rather than a full moon. "I thought I knew you. I guess I was wrong, wasn't I? You'd harm people just to get what you want. Even though you may be too blind to see that he might just be using you. If you needed help, I could have tried my best to help you. And I would have done that as a friend. But now..."The Saiyan's coal pupils landed in Frost. "And you. You wanted to know who I am? I'm the man that protects the weak from villains like you. I'm the one people cry out to when it is their darkest hour. I'm a protector of this world, and will be a protector of ALL worlds. You have both made an act of unnecessary violence. And for what? As a sick demonstration? To make an attack against the Universal Syndicate of Defense? And you chose the best way to do that was to attack a building full of people? Seriously?!"The cerulean aura around Kombu flared in defiance of the two reprobates. "I'm going to make you both PAAAAY!!!" As that last word left the Saiyan's lips, the very air trembled with power. He would vanish in an instant only to appear before the blue Majin with fists clenched and teeth bared. A heavy uppercut careened toward Liari's jaw while he bellowed a battle cry. Then he tossed a haymaker toward her left cheek, shouting again. And then a right jab went for her forehead only to be followed up by more fists that flew at her like a meteor shower. The punches flew so fast that the Saiyan appeared to have grown many arms in the process! Kombu let loose a final punch to land in Liari's gut before he began an assault against the arrogant Changeling. His attack on Zero was the same he had used on Liari: the Meteor Shower, which he aptly named. A hurricane of fists barreled down on Zero Ika. Anger could be felt behind each and every blow from the Warrior of Hope and Justice. All the while, a fury-filled roar echoed across the city. Kombu would gain some distance after the attack, whether he was successful or not. Now was time to really give it to them where it hurt. The Saiyan's right palm splayed open and was pulled back adjacent to his shoulder. in it, a teal ball of ki was born. Starting as small as a golf ball but soon growing to the size of a volleyball with each passing moment. Glittering energy swirled toward the attack as it was charged. "Liari...I'm sorry. But after what you've done...You leave me no choice." WC: 983 Total WC: 2,012 Active PL: 5,378 Health: 10,756/10,756 Stamina: 8,067 -> 4,517 Ki: 18,832 Basic Actions:

Callion overlooked from on high, seeing the debris and chaos that Liari’s attack had brought to the city, while a good majority of the citizens had fled the area, there were those inside the building that sadly were not so fortunate. Once he saw the smoke and dust scatter, he could see the culprit behind the devastation; Liari the Majin. In his heart of hearts, the Saiyan monk was wounded by such a discovery. How in all that is holy could she do such a thing? Why would she do this? What personal gain was there to just randomly decide to take away innocent lives that yes, maybe working for the USD, but they had no personal part to play in harming anyone as far as he was concerned. If Ayu heard about this, I don’t even know how she’d respond to her supposed sister’s view of the Majin having committed such a deed. Callion wasn’t angry, but rather disappointed in such an unruly waste of Earthling life, and now he saw that one of his own had now decided to try and punish Liari and even going so far as to engage in combat! The fool! He had no idea what was going to happen or the opponent he was about to fight against, at least the Saiyan monk assumed of course that Kombu had never gone toe to toe with Liari in a Spar of training. Still, there was hope. No, the real culprit that Callion his eyes on from a high altitude, not to mention being able to sense the power level was Zero… The Changeling that flew out of the ZZTV building and having made his way towards the two, now having witnessed his fellow Saiyan now starting a fight in order to stop the Majin from doing anymore harm. Needless to say, this was getting out of hand and there may very well be little time to reverse the damage that’s already been done. With hope as well as faith, Kombu might just be able to hold his own against the Majin for a while. In actual reality a part of Callion was rather proud of his fellow kin to actually stand up against the odds and stop the insanity of the situation from getting further out of control, and now it was time for him to intervene infront of Zero, should he have the idea to step into the fight. “I’m going to have to stop you right there…” Callion warned with glare of his eyes, lowering down from the altitude to meet the Changeling face to face. From what was once the respectful nature of a Saiyan that was alien to his own kind had now shifted to that of one that honestly a person should be rather careful with speaking to. “How’s it been? First time coming to this city myself. Already seen it can be quite the ‘explosive’ reception…” The Saiyan continued looking around at the area before him, the debris and former remains of the building was that he could see… That and a barren City devoid of life. “Now that we have the simple pleasantries out of the way, I want to know what kind of game you’re playing at.” Callion asked Zero, already getting straight to the point at the heart of the discussion, taking a small glimpse to Liari, that sudden, cold stare from his change in attitude to one who was severely not in the mood for games, then returned his sight back to the changeling, the vein appearing on his head, the murderous gaze of his eyes. This was but the fleeting moments of peace between this Saiyan and the Changeling, right now anything could set off the powder keg that was about to happen. “Did you set Liari up to this? You happen to have quite the control over her, so I want to know what’s going on and you are going to tell me everything… NOW.”
With all his lifestyle having been raised to stay out of affairs that didn’t belong to him, the Saiyan – deep down into his primal subconscious – could no longer look away to what was happening, and even more so, he had to defend his fellow Saiyan and student of Master Roshi from the possible two on one fight that may very well occur, at the very least buy him time to try and settle the confrontation with Liari. “I don’t want this fight anymore than the next person, least of all getting involved with the affairs that has nothing to do with me… However, I see Liari as a friend, and whether she sees me back as one or not is of little consequence. What will not stand for, is you holding onto her like a pet on a leash. So choose your next words carefully, since you are clearly experienced in that…”
“What do you think you’re doing in this city? What is your goal here?”
The air between the Changeling and Saiyan was a mixture of tense and radiating a mixture of hot and cold. The hot being the fires that were about to ignite if an exchange of hands was to be delivered between either party if a true fight was about to undertake, and the cold being the words of warning of what was to come, a chill up the spine should the situation divulge into something worse than it already was. In Callion’s defence, he was no fool. It was rather amazing to what an individual can learn from a person’s character after a small amount of time and having met a person once, after all, first impressions were already important, and from judging their interactions on Tropical Island, and how Liari, Zero, Callion, and Ryme interacted with one another. He remembered rather well how the Changeling Brothers treated the Majin at the Island, how they got under her skin in sending Liari into a violent fit of rage on top of trying to get under the Saiyan’s skin, and so if Liari was STILL following them for whatever reason. Callion wanted to know… One way or another…

The changeling was proud of Liari, she had done well he had even told her as much. This saiyan who proclaimed himself a hero was laughable though with his speech of justice and what have you. To Zero he was nothing more than an extra in the show he was putting on for West City. Another pawn in the grand plans of the endless possible results of what was to come.
"A hero? If you are such a thing then why are you trying to get revenge? Is revenge justice now? I could have sworn that was just getting even. And to get revenge for the USD, the very organization that took over your homeworld? My my, it would seem you are the evil one from my point of view. Liari and I are here to liberate this great city and welcome it to the galactic trade market. Yet, there you stand defending a known dictatorship after your very kind has destroyed an entire city. Perhaps it is only justice you seek against Alien races that are not Saiyan or alien hm? Because she is blue and I have horns that make us the evil ones? I do not believe I saw you defending Orange City when it was attacked by three members of your race, convenient that you protect a single building and only against people who look like us. "
Zero turned to face the news vehicle above them in the sky. THIS is what the USD has allowed taking root in your cities. Racist warriors who fight only when you do not look human enough.
Then as if the monkey was following the script, he went out and acted in the very fashion he expected of a chimp and attacked Liari. While what he said was true about Liari being a tool for Zero, no one was going to break his tool as he needed her to perform more things for him.
Before he could do much of anything else Kombu attacked the Majin, and his brow lifted up. He was interested in what the outcome of this would be, so much so that he started to draw closer to the fight to watch closer, yet before he could so do another monkey joined the frame. Callion, the monk saiyan he had encountered on that island a while back. The very one he could not get riled up and made him wonder what had this saiyan gone through to be so different. As seen in Kombu they let their emotions drive their actions most of the time, something that Zero thought was the sign of an imbecile.
Here was what Zero found funny, Callion came in like the big man on the power pole like he was in charge and nothing was going to happen if he did not wish it to, he was a fool, and just where did he get off talking to Zero like that. By the time he was done speaking Kombu had come up and tried to squeeze in between the two of them and tried the same attack on Zero. Zero went to block the attack but instead readied a counter, before Kombu was finishing his combo attack Zero fainted an uppercut with his left hand and used it to act to mask the tail whip that came from the side aiming for Kombu's right arm. If it hit or not was no concern as he was just making sure everyone saw that striking him would not go unpunished. The attack attempted to strike before Kombu pulled back and if hit would likely do some nice damage with the tail weapon.
If Kombu would still pull back Zero made sure to check himself and look over at Callion readying himself if needed to fight him for his attacks on the Saiyan, he was not sure if this was going to provoke the saiyan or not, but if it did he wanted to be ready.
"My my, you certainly have a tone about you today. Honestly, where do you get off? Why do you care if the followers of the Dictatorship of the USD die or not? Are you going to defend such horrible people as well? "
Zero's attention darted to the fight below the two who were flying and made sure nothing else was going to strike him, for if it did again Zero would have no choice but to strike with all he had. He would not tolerate being touched again by any saiyan no matter who they were or how strong they thought themselves to be. None of them here could withstand the power he held at his fingertips, this much he was sure to be true. It was just a typical assumption though as he thought he was the strongest outside of his fellow race.
"If you do not wish to fight I would suggest changing that tone and keeping your emotions in check like you are so keen on doing. But, I will answer your questions as I would rather not have to get all tired out and destroy my cape if I do not have to.
Zero motioned his hands in a way to point out the destruction around them. " I did not force Liari to do anything, the child was free to make her own choice and she picked. In exchange for helping me with this task, I am helping her with her own task which I might add is going to take a lot more effort to do than just destroying a building full of people who wish to control others.
Zero then pointed to a vending machine and looked square into Callion's eyes. "Let's have something to cool your temper down hm? You would not want to upset me more than I am already. If it were my brother he would have already started blasting. Be happy you got the Brother who dislikes fighting.
With that said Zero moved to the vending machine and lifted his datapad from the belt line of his chest piece to the screen on the machine and got two Lemonade drinks. He handed one to the Saiyan and then returned his datapad to the belt and kept his left hand tucked behind his back as he used one hand to pop the top of his canned drink. After taking a sip he went back to his explanation.
"So yes, I asked Liari for her help to liberate West City from their hands, and help it achieve the best it could be with my ties in the corporate market. It should improve technology on earth tenfold at the least and bring in a storm of capital to the planet bringing in a financial boom. So I am taking the city over, and the old owner needed to be moved out with a show of force so that they would understand this is not something to negotiate.
He took another sip and then grinned playfully at Callion.
"So am I to meet this might of the oh-so-strong Monkey King of Earth, or shall we sit back and see if my Liari beats that chimp brother of yours?"
Zero would not hold back any insults as he was not scared of Callion at all, the murderous look was nothing he was not used to as he had dealt with it his entire life from his Father Chiller. Where he came from failure was treated with great punishment. He looked over to Liari to check how she was doing, he was interested to see how well she would fight against this Saiyan whom it seemed she knew. Then perhaps they could move on with things and all go their separate ways. That was unless Callion had wished to indeed do the dance of fist with him, and if so this would not be a fight Zero would let him walk away from, for if Zero were to fight this day, he would make a clear statement to all present and watching on the TV. That Zero was the strongest on this planet, he would show them all his True form and what real power and destruction looked like on Frost.

Post by Majin Liari on Jun 29, 2022 16:06:51 GMT -5
Liari's eyes widened as Kombu LEAPT at her has the last few seconds of her countdown ticked, his arms CLAMPING around her tiny form as an energy-sphere encompassed them both!
"WHA...." She cried, STRUGGLING TO RIP the sayain's arms off of her! "GET OFF ME, STUPID! I GONNA-"
Boooooooooom!
By either the grace of the kais or the majin's own incompetence, the sphere contained the majority of the blast to the outside space ahead of the building itself, SHREDDING the plaza in a much thinner tower of ki, its width contained by the sayain's sphere! The utter shockwave of such a burst of power MORE than destroyed the majority of the building, causing the foundations to crumble, the glass to shatter, the ground to UPHEAVE... but most of it still stood. Besides the ragged remains of the plaza, which was left completely and utterly decimated, Liari did FAR LESS damage than she had intended...
As the smoke cleared, Kombu was left laying in the dirt at the Majin's feet, his armor smoking and cracked, his flesh charred from face-tanking the sheer BRUNT of the blast! Liari wasn't completely unphased as well as, before his barrier has given way, Kombu had managed to rebound a substantial deal of energy off of the interior surface of the sphere, CRASHING it back down on the majin who conjured in the first place! Liari stood, quivering and smoking in the blackened crater of the explosion, her body STEAMING and burnt, her lips curled back in an agonized SNARL!
"RRRRRR...GGGGGGH! You... IDIOT!" Liari growled, her form slowly, steadily recovering itself! "You... YOU coulda.... coulda DIED! I... YOU...." Liari KICKED at Kombu's back as he lay on the ground in ANGER, frustrated that he would be DUMB ENOUGH to try something like that! HOW COULD HE!? They were friends right!? ...Well, not anymore, apparently. Kombu was roused by that boot in his spine as he slowly clawed his way back to his feet, disorientation giving way to rage as he LASHED out at Liari for even TRYING what she had!
"WHAT I SUPPOSED TO DO!?" She shouted, SHOVING the sayain! "YOU NOT KNOW WHAT IT LIKE, NOT SLEEPING FOR WEEK! YOU NOT KNOW! SO NICE FOR YOU TO SAY WHAT I DOING WRONG WHEN YOU NOT KNOW HOW MUCH I HURT!"
...And then Zero came down like the majin's dark angel, hovering above them, his proud smile falling upon the majin like an ANVIL upon her shoulders! The moment she locked eyes with the changeling, her gaze flicked down at her feet... a disgusted, quivering frown flashing across her lips. OH! And Callion was here TOO! Liari could sense him now that she wasn't about to explode! Like always, that stupid neutrality ebbed from his energy like cancerous radiation, a strict counter the cool maliciousness Zero exuded with his presence.
...And now Liari felt worse. She didn't... like... REALLY like Callion (especially after that borderline ABUSIVE beating he gave her), but she didn't HATE HIM! That was enough for her to feel SHAME when his disapproving gaze touched on her too. Why....? WHY WAS HE HERE...? WHY WERE ANY OF THEM HERE!? WHY COULDN'T SHE JUST BE LEFT ALONE!?
Liari crouched down in the crater, grabbing at her head in utter pain and frustration as the adults hashed everything out, Zero explaining his motives to both the sayains and the media, Kombu declaring his disdain for the majin and his HATE for the changeling and Callion, seemingly talking down to all of them. Whatever they said was drowned out by the majin's own rapidly pulsating, throbbing heartbeat, her eyes clenched SHUT as her fingers dug into her tentacles and her scalp!
Why....?
WHY......!?
WHY.....!?!?
One of her hands reached down and CLUTCHED at her chest as a fresh wave of tears rolled down over her cheeks, soft, echoing sobs reverberating from Liari as things escalated around her. Kombu... had lost himself to his anger. Whether because he felt himself betrayed by a friend, how small he felt when surrounded by such powers or the fact lives were lost at all, the sayain's temper EXPLODED as he first rushed down Liari! She barely had enough time to look up, sensing his approach before a fist SLAMMED into her jaw, the impact sending a SHOCKWAVE across the ground, BLOWING away ash and dirt... but barely digging into Liari's cheek at all. The following assault barely moved Liari as she stood and took it, her expression pitiful, ashamed in the face of her friend's relentlessness. She could have fought back... She could have SLAPPED Kombu down for even TRYING to hit her... but she couldn't. She didn't have it in her to hit Kombu when he was mad at her... for a good reason.
...Liari just stood there and took the punishment, each hit knocking a fresh spray of tears into the sky... that was, until he turned his attention to Zero. This would be his first... and last mistake. Zero wasn't one to take aggression from anyone, be them as strong as Callion or as outmatched as Kombu. Liari saw Zero reel back his tail, its muscles flexing! Her eyes would widen! She knew what this would do to Kombu if it struck! As the sayain LEPT at Zero, fist cocked back to strike him, Liari would SHOOT towards, them, reaching out with a hand!
"NO! ZERO-"
CRACK!
Liari gasped as Kombu's head SNAPPED roughly in a near unnatural direction from the strike, his body hitting the ground ROUGHLY right where he had sprung from!
"KOMBU!" Liari yelled, rushing to his side! She could BARELY feel his energy, as if that one hit had erased it ALL! His breathing, so shallow, his eyes... empty... The majin reached out for him, but stopped just short, her wrists trembling as.... she couldn't think of anything she could even DO! She... She didn't know HOW to heal people and... and he was so weak, she didn't wanna move him! She was crying before but now, the poor girl was BAWLING over the quickly expiring sayain that was once her friend! The majin's breathing grew rapid with panic, her whole body SHIVERING over Kombu as she desperately tried to think of something she could do to save him!
"No... no... You no can die..." Liari whimpered, lightly touching Kombu's face! "I... I supposed to fight you again... We supposed to fight lotsa times... You no can die... I... I gotta help...." Liari's head SHOT UP AT Callion and Zero, a desperate look in her eye as her gaze flicked between the devil and the angel!
"WHAT YOU UP THERE FOR!? DO SOMETHING!" She demanded! "HE DYING, YOU STUPIDS! YOU NO FEEL IT!? HE..." Liari froze, Kombu's power disappearing for a moment! Her head snapped back towards her friend... as he took another breath! His power flickered back to life... but it was only half the strength it was! The majin whimpered softly as she knelt over Kombu's body, cupping his hand in hers.
"It not fair..." She whispered, her head slowly lowering to rest on his chest. "I wanna save you... You no can die... I wanna... Oh......" Suddenly, the majin's eyes blanked! Something had switched in Liari's mind as she fell over Kombu completely! Her form would begin to liquify, losing its humanoid shape and resembling more like a fleshy blue blanket that would encompass the sayain! If it wasn't stopped, the form would completely cover Kombu... before compressing and twisting, SHAPING into something... vaguely humanoid again! Slowly, the shape of arms would grow out of the mass, then a body, then legs... then a HEAD, all of which MUCH taller than the majin of before! The form WRITHED, CURLING inward as it took on a more defined shape, Longer tentacles rolling down to lower-mid back, some raised up slightly over the head as if to resemble Kombu's spikey hair! A white breastplate with turquoise pads and yellow lining formed around the body resembling Kombu's, arms with Liari's bracers poking out. Baggy white pants held up by a black belt with a yellow buckle formed next, a clear "M" written across its face as it glinted in the light. Her boot-slippers resembling those Liari wore before took shape... and with that... the transformation would complete.
Where two once rested one now stood, 7'5'' Liari stood motionless in the spot where she was reborn, her face... blank as she looked down at herself. Slowly, the once small majin would raise her hands up to her face, her silver eyes flicking between her hands to her bracers, then down at her body. Without a word or even a change in expression, Liari's head would then turn up to look at both Zero and Callion, her dead-eyed gaze starting with the changeling... before resting on the sayain.

The fool of a boy Kombu! Had he only learned to hold his temper and refuse to throw hands at the one he called friend, NONE of this would even come close to happening in the first place! There could’ve been a chance for peace and negotiation, especially with Zero with all things at how admittedly incredible he was in being able to engage in the art of diplomacy in all his charisma glory that emitted around his person. This was going royally SNAFU in the worst way possible, and this fellow Saiyan was suppose to be a fellow student of Master Roshi!? If only the old Turtle Hermit could see this madness right now, it was heart breaking and incredibly stupid in every possible sense of the world. If he knew things were going to come this bad, the Saiyan Monk would’ve never so much as set a single foot to come to such a city, regardless of having to meet up with a fellow student to forge a bond of working together in order to become stronger! This was insane! Stupid! Downright barbaric in every conceivable manner possible! And now he had to witness the idiot that he had the shame of calling his fellow Saiyan fight and duke it out with Liari and Zero. Well, the fate of such a man was simple: Callion continued to stay out of the fight regardless, only to currently engage in the tension conversation in the basic sense of the world with Zero. His eyes continued to glare, not motioning a bit, even as Kombu tried to intervene in this discussion. This was now a means for the Saiyan monk to figure out just what kind of plan or games this Changeling was upto and how exactly was this going to excuse the factor of using Liari as nothing short of a powerful tool; a means to an end for his rise to power and dominance to the whole City, and who knows how long that will be until He’d have total dominance of the world? The Poor Majin at his mercy and control was something disgusting that made the Saiyan’s stomach weak with displeasure. For Callion; the feelings with Liari were simply enough someone who didn’t hate her, a returning glance had change from what was disappointment, to now pity. The pain that the poor majin was now having seemingly, in his eyes, being forced to such a deed. “I care not for this USD and their Dictatorship. I have no idea who they even are. My concern alone is Liari and her wellbeing, not to being used as a damn pet in this manner.” Callion replied, his intensions made clear that now the only reason he was even hear with the situation being changed was the Majin being manipulated like a puppet on a string. This was not the first time that the Saiyan had to see Liari being used in such a state. The Beach was more than evident to the vile usage the Changeling had for her, and that goes without saying the other brother; who waisted no time in seemingly throwing the poor majin under the bus, blaming her for the Earthlings having fled the area, which in reality was Zero’s doing. If this was how the Majin had to put up with on the beach, the Kami above forbid just how much torture she had to go through with untold weeks with spending time with those two! The glare of the Saiyan’s eyes remained, as he listened to Zero’s reply for the moment, looking back to Kombu and Liari for the moment before turning back once more as he heard Zero’s offer… To Talk. Honestly, with everything going so damn wrong in many ways, it was honestly the only option Callion had to gain from this. The Saiyan closed his eyes, taking a long deep breath and slowly exhaled, holding his posture for a moment before slowly opening his eyes, returning to the natural state that he was before the insanity that transpired throughout the place, though keeping the same serious energy that he had before. At least now he was going to gain the answers that he wanted to figure out once and for all from Zero. Noticing the Changeling motioning his hand, the Saiyan Monk followed him, at least paving the incredibly thin ice for a chance of peace between the two for whatever the moment lasted. It was their movement away from the fight, which in turn determined the fate of Kombu that he learned what he needed to know, at least tongue and cheek from the Changeling’s mouth. Hearing the answer of having not forced Liari to do anything immediately made Callion all the more incredibly suspicious with an uninterested scowl. Of all the things to give a reply, that was something to make things feel worse. Still, it was the comment afterwards about him offering her a deal in helping the Majin with her own task, that made him have a rather inquisitive look. “What’s wrong with her? You have any idea?” Callion asked, folding his arms as the two arrived at one another squarely face to face by the time the two arrived at the vending machine. The Saiyan accepted the drink, thanking the Changeling for the offer as he used one hand to pop the top of the canned drink in unison with the Changeling, he took a look at what was going on with the fight between his fellow Saiyan and the Majin before listening into the conversation as he took a sip of the lemonade. The conquest of the city, the marketing reasoning and mission behind it all, and the total removal of the old USD command in replace with something new and wonderous, then it clicked to the Saiyan… The PTO… Tabu’s warning and how Ryme’s threat at the beach. For Callion, he started to paint the picture, though whether he was right or wrong was still up for debate, his attention turned once more to Zero, hearing the comment of how he was now dubbed ‘Monkey King of Earth’. How wrong that was. “Tell me… You wouldn’t happened to be part of this PTO would you? Your brother seemed to have a nice way of threatening the planet to completely blow it up, but decided to keep it alive thanks to the Earthling’s food. Is that really still in your sight or-“
That was the moment the Saiyan’s eyes widened… The sound of a neck having snapped, the cries of Liari made Callion turn his attention towards what had happened, and as such the obvious did indeed occur… His fellow Saiyan, dead and beaten without so much as even a possible fight – barely a fight if one wanted to be technical. The Saiyan Monk’s face widened, the silence was harrowing as only the cries of Liari filled the void… Then it happened. We’ve all felt it in some form…our heart starts racing, we breathe more rapidly, break out in a sweat, cry out, freeze, run, feel tightness in our chest or gut…that’s fear. Fear affects us in different ways at different times – some of us even enjoy it and seek it out. Fear reaction starts in the brain and spreads through the body to make adjustments for the best defence, or flight reaction. The fear response starts in a region of the brain is known as the amygdala. This almond-shaped set of nuclei in the temporal lobe of the brain is dedicated to detecting the emotional salience of the stimuli – how much something stands out to us. For example, the amygdala activates whenever we see a human face with an emotion. This reaction is more pronounced with anger and fear. A threat stimulus, such as the sight of a predator, triggers a fear response in the amygdala, which activates areas involved in preparation for motor functions involved in fight or flight. It also triggers release of stress hormones and sympathetic nervous system. This leads to bodily changes that prepare us to be more efficient in a danger: The brain becomes hyperalert, pupils dilate, the bronchi dilate and breathing accelerates. Heart rate and blood pressure rise. Blood flow and stream of glucose to the skeletal muscles increase. Organs not vital in survival such as the gastrointestinal system slow down. A part of the brain called the hippocampus is closely connected with the amygdala. The hippocampus and prefrontal cortex help the brain interpret the perceived threat. They are involved in a higher-level processing of context, which helps a person know whether a perceived threat is real. For Callion. The threat and fear were more than he could ever anticipate. The complete consumption of what was once a lifeform now becoming one with Liari and transformation her before both the Saiyan and Changeling’s eyes… The now emptied can that was barren of the fizzy liquid was dropped to the floor. This was a level of anxiety disorder in the purest sense, the emotional brain that of an earthling couldn’t even comprehend to what was going on, and even for a Saiyan; whose warrior race strived to live and pierce through such events whenever there was a war to fight and win… Even this was terrifying, and it only get worse the long the bio-mass of Liari changed and shifted before his vision, everything about this was just wrong horrid and otherwise Lovecraftian. The Thalamus, Sensory cortex, Hippocampus, Amygdala, and the Hypothalamus were all simultaneously ignited from what Callion was witnessing before him. The chain reaction of his face flinching and twitching as a result of the stimulus and chemicals of his heart racing like a stallion, the fast breathing and energized muscles were the aftermath of witnessing the total transformation of Liari before his eyes. She was different, that much was obvious; she even looked more Saiyan that she ever did before, the total body modification and conversion was astounding. From the breastplate to her clothes, muscles, facial features, everything that one could’ve possibly remembered to what the old Liari looked like was now gone, and was replaced with… This… Monster. In that instant, what was once fear, was now replaced with excitement. The cannabinoid receptor of the brain was dissipated by the Saiyan’s neurobiology; the ability to feel the fear overloading the body. The basal ganglia in the limbic system began to stabilize as the chemical compounds began to instead produce a flux of Dopamine, Serotonin and even Adrenaline. The thrill of a fight, one that even he could see as a possible last fight was now overriding any sense that Callion had. His attention turned to the Changeling and then back to Liari. “So… Any idea what just happened?” The Saiyan asked Zero, hoping to at least the one that was holding onto reigns of this newly formed Majin before their eyes. “I hope for your sake you know what you’re doing… I wouldn’t be surprised if even you will have difficulty with her now… Anyway, I best welcome her.”With that Callion, recognising that this may very go down the same path as the foolish Kombu that started all of this, took a deep breathe, closing his eyes in a moment of prayer… “Kami… Whatever gods exist… Watch over my friends… Ayu… Zerori… Quash… Tabu… Plasma… Yes, even this Changeling next to me. Keep them safe and give them the time they need to get stronger. Perhaps let my sins be judged in this moment on all accounts… For all that I am… So that whatever happens I may die with a clear conscience.” The Saiyan’s eyes opened, taking on the same serious look as he did before, before slowly turned his head to glance at Zero. “Thanks for the drink. You may want to stay out of this now.” Callion simply stated, his head motioning over to Liari’s emotionless stare, for there was no telling what was about to happen in this eerie situation. Marching onward towards his possible Destiny, the Saiyan eventually came into contact with Liari, his face now calmed and collected as it ever was, amazed by the height and change of the Majin – now having to look up to the tall girl before him. Perhaps, before what was about to begin… A small, fleeting parlay can begin between the two. “Hello Liari.”

After batting away the saiyan Kombu like a shuttlecock, that popped the Saiyan's neck with just one hit. Watching the body bounce to the ground. Liari seemed to have some emotional response over it, such a fickle thing. Did she not yet learn that having attachments to other beings was a weakness. It was this exact weakness that allowed people like Zero to gain a slip of control over people. It was how his father had made sure Zero and Ryme followed his order, playing the two against each other. See twins among Changelings were rare, and often times they were pitted against each other where one would rise against the other. Often leading to the death of one of them. Ryme and Zero, however, never tried that with each other. They had figured out the game early on and decided to build each other up. While Ryme remained the only weakness Zero had he made sure his brother got stronger and Zero did the same so neither one of them would become a trap for the other. Kombu, however, did not even get to live to that point to be an item used to control someone, no he had let emotions run their wants and ended his life. Zero ignored the pleas of Liari to help. It was what the saiyan got for putting those disgusting hands on a being of higher existence. He just hoped he did not get some kind of sickness from being touched by the monkey. Something like monkeypox or similar.
Then with great shock, much like that Callion felt, they watched the Majin woman change her entire body structure into a blue puddle and swallow the Saiyan whole. A few seconds later the Majin reappeared, but she was different. Her head tails were styled like Kombu's hair, her chest piece represents Kombu's and her height had increased by almost double. He now had to look up to meet her eyes. While he could not sense power levels, or even wore a scouter, Zero could feel a bit of chill run down his tail as the new Liari had fixed her eyes on him.
He was astonished, honestly, he did not think that she was capable of such a thing, nor how many times she could repeat such action or if the target of this attack needed to be dying to do it. The more he learned the more questions he had about her. Something told him that Callion's words were more of a warning than a smart remark. He was sure however that the leash as Callion had put it was on tight, and even if it was not, Ryme and himself could beat it back on.
Zero never took his eyes off Liari until she placed them on Callion, it seemed it was him she was interested in. I have only started to learn what she can do, clearly. But fret not, I do think I have it under control. If not now, I will soon enough."
Of course, he was speaking about the Majin Mind Control technique he had started to study from Master Babadi, one that used the hatred in one's heart to form a leash for the caster of the spell to use on the victim of the attack. He was certain that Liari now had plenty of hate, hate for him? Perhaps, though for now, it seemed that hate was tailored in Callion's direction. A direction Zero would move out of. Hearing Callion's thanks and his suggestion for Zero to move away almost made him smack his lips and return the words with some playful ones of his own, but he felt it clear as water. Liari and Callion were about to face off, and it was going to get ugly.
Thinking of the people who he had just claimed ownership of Zero lifted into the air once more tossing the drink aside as he did. For once, Zero took the words of a saiyan to heart and began moving away. "Oh yes, I do intend to do just that. And please, do not hold back. I would like to see what she can do now with this change. " With that said Zero flew upwards to the news cameras until he was facing directly into the lens of one camera. "Dear people of West City, it has become aware that destruction will likely be taking place throughout your homes. I urge you to safely exit the city. Do not worry about your possessions, as I will ensure the first month's profits are paid out to repair and fix anything damaged in the upcoming fight. Please leave now. That means you too news networks."
With that said Zero turned his back to the camera and looked down at the Majin and Callion as they stood face to face. Zero for one was eager to see what the outcome was going to be. He honestly had no idea how strong Caliion was or how well the man fought. Still, in all his saiyan pride he stood in front of the challenge before him and accepted it with an annoying amount of calm. Though he was relieved to finally had seen some reaction out of the man since they had first met.
Most of all Zero was interested to see how much Liari had changed from who she was before, he was not accustomed to this new Majin Form or what it brought with it. All he knew was that things were about to heat up here and that control over the City was now going to happen as even if Liari would start to lose, he would still be here to back her up. He could not lose her now that he knew she had more things she had to show him.
The only thing that was starting to concern him was that Ryme was not here to assist him if Liari had found she no longer wished for his help and turned on him next. While he had yet to show her his true power, he was certain that he would need all of it if he was going to put her back in her place as a tool for his goals.
There was not much else to do currently but watch and see what would happen. If the Majin had lost her mind then it would perhaps be best to not get involved and Let Callion take her out, and then deal with the saiyan, or vice versa and let Liari take out Callion before he would face her himself. The worst-case was he would have to team up with the Saiyan.
Still, he was sure that the control he did have over Liari would still be intact and firm. There was something about having to depend on a person no matter how much you hated them that kept them from attacking you. Zero knew of this firsthand, while he often thought he was strong enough to take his father Chiller out in a fight alone, the beatings he had got from training with him both in person and through his meditation training made him think otherwise. He still feared his father's wrath and his rage if he failed. While Zero did not have that level over the Main girl just yet, he was sure that her need for him outweighed her hate.
As long as that remained he would have nothing to fear, in fact, he was sure that until they had discovered the one who dropped Liari here on Earth, Liari would behave herself and follow instructions when they would be given...
He thought it best to use a bit of his control now. "Fear, not Liari, after you have had your fun with the saiyan there, I will reach out to Ryme, he had gone into space to hunt down some leads to find who dropped you off here. I will follow through with the promise I made you, and I have no doubts that you will earn my favor."
He wore a smile that one could call sinister. After all we are the only ones who care about you enough to ensure you find what it is you are searching for."
He was looking forward to showing his brother the footage of this fight and telling him the situation step by step, while he knew Ryme was not a fan of claiming this planet he would surely be interested in the awakening of a newfound power within Liari. Something that he admitted would be unforeseen. Perhaps he and Ryme would come up with a way to better use this new skill Liari had a show, perhaps Ryme would like the details of how the first saiyan died and how the Dr. Donkey Kong, soon met the same fate after Liair beat every single strain of hair from his head. It was sad that Ryme was not here with him to enjoy this, but his brother was out there doing something very important, something that would change the fate of the Universe as they knew it. The twins were going out after every Dark and Mythical power they had heard of and were planning to use it to bolster their powers to a height unforeseen in ages.
All so they may form their army, and restructure the PTO into something MORE, something that was truly a profit turner. Something they could take over Planet Frost with, something Zero could mock his father with before he blasted a hole into his chest and stumped on it over and over again until his father bleed out, suffering each time his chest lifted and fell. It would be like watching a fish bleed out while it died outside of the water, only furthering its struggle to live to ultimately die.
This was his view, everyone aside from Ryme was these fish, or any animal would fit here. The point was they were all Lesser Beings, not even some Changelings were on the same scale. Ryme and Zero were often referred to as Racist but this was not true, they thought themselves better than everyone and every species or race out there. They were gods to these mortals and the power of a god would become there's with enough wealth and power. They would be accessed and be worshiped like the gods of old.
And it all started with this fight, with his blue demon taking out the first monkey who ever made the mistake to threaten Zero. This was power, this was what I meant to be strong to Zero. There was no need for him to even waste his energy beating up the monkey and showing him his place in all of this, not while Zero had Liari around. She was not a minion or a lackey, no she was a hand of his. Perhaps not the right hand, perhaps a better title was his WRAITH. Yes, that would be what she would be known as from now on. The Wraith of the Lord Zero. As long as Liari was around Zero need not fight ever again, which would allow him to train, study, and plot as long as he needed to prepare for his father, because that was one fight he would have himself.
